A solo-exhibition of new nature prints, copper printing plates, textiles and video pieces inspired by the Koster Sea and the work of marine scientists at Tjärnö Marine Laboratory, University of Gothenburg, Sweden. The exhibited works were developed during residencies at Tjärnö, and at BORCH Editions in Copenhagen, Denmark. As the Oceans call out for our attention, SEA OF LOVE draws connections between printmaking, marine sciences and the passionate pursuit of finding things out.
With thanks to: Marine Scientist Alexandra Kinnby and Christin Appelqvist, Head of Public Engagement at Tjärnö Aquarium, Tjärnö Marine Laboratory, University of Gothenburg | Master Printmakers Tom Jennions and Mette Ulstrup, and the team at BORCH Editions | Textile print consultant Fran Lockyer | Sarah Wiltshire | Simone Cassas | Zucker Art Books & Capturing Nature.
